Joe and John Brice
On December 4th. P.M. Bro. Joe Brice led a mixed deputation of 23 out of the Province of Aberdeenshire East and into the Province of Renfrewshire West to work the Installation of his brother (and Honorary Life Member of Ugie #939) Bro. John Brice.
Leaving Mintlaw at about 12:00 we headed off in two mini buses, collecting bodies in Aberdeen, and with only a pit stop at Tesco in Dundee to use the facilities and grab a quick bite, if I remember correctly we arrived about 5ish and booked in once again to the same hotel as last time we visited.

With only time for a wee tipple at the bar we set off in a coach for the Lodge.
Arriving with time to spare, to say that the place was mobbed would be an understatement. If the measure of a man can be judged by the turn out at his Installation, then I would definetely say John Brice is a man worth knowing.
The Installation that is customarily worked down there, whilst arriving at the same destination as our ceremony takes a somewhat different route. However, Installing Master P.M. Bro. Joe Brice worked as he himself was taught, and in an excellent (and at times emotional) ceremony Bro. John Brice was Installed into the Chair of King Solomon of Lodge Ardgowan #1425 in the Province of Renfrewshire West.
